The Greater Kansas City Chamber of Commerce home page. If it has to
do with business, the Chamber of Commerce can give you some starting points.
SmartCities is presented by the Kansas City Area Development Council and
focuses on the business community.
The Better Business Bureau of Greater Kansas City provides alerts, news,
and comprehensive databases on businesses and charities operating in the
Kansas City area.
The Virtual International Trade Center focuses on linking Kansas City area
importers and exporters with the tools they need to do business on an

City Culture & Entertainment
A Kansas City tradition for 99 years, the American Royal Livestock, Horse
Show, and Rodeo showcases the nations best horses, cattle, hogs, and sheep,
along with a few exotics like llamas. Held every fall, The American
Royal is a reminder of our role as the center of the nation's breadbasket.
As uptown as the American Royal is down home, the Kansas City Symphony,
now under the direction of Anne Manson, brings out the classics to an
appreciative Kansas City audience.
If opera is your cup of tea, the Lyric Opera of Kansas City is full to the
brim with just what you need. Check out coming attractions or past
operas and even buy tickets. If this is your first time to enjoy opera,

Starlight Theater brings Broadway to the park. Music and musicals
are a summer tradition in Kansas City's theater under the stars.

The Agricultural Hall of Fame includes a fascinating archive of historic
agricultural implements as well as a turn-of-the-century Farm Town and

Springs, Kansas.
In 1856, the Steamboat Arabia sank into the waters of the muddy Missouri

for 132 years. The Steamboat Arabia Museum in Kansas City's historic

in Kearney, Missouri, just a few miles north of Kansas City.

The Kemper Museum of Contemporary Art and Design maintains a permanent
